Wraiths & Wicked Whispers currently meets outside Historic Thalian Hall, 310 Chestnut Street.

The operator says the guide will be wearing a US Ghost Adventures shirt and carrying a lantern. Guests are asked to arrive about 15 minutes before the tour.

This tour does not finish at the same location. The current listing ends at the Latimer House, 126 S 3rd Street, after the final story.

There is one useful detail if you have been searching online: you may see 102 N 3rd Street, Wilmington City Hall on the same operator's website. That address is currently listed for its separate seasonal Ghosts of Christmas Past tour, not for the standard Wraiths & Wicked Whispers tour. 3. True Crime Tour: 125 Market Street

The True Crime Tour of Wilmington meets in front of Slice of Life Pizzeria & Pub Downtown at 125 Market Street.

The meeting instructions specify the front entrance on Market Street. You do not need to search for a separate tour office.

The current listing also recommends the public parking deck next door, which makes this one of the simpler downtown meeting points to recognize.

The tour ends back at the same meeting point.

4. Wilmington Coup & Massacre Tour: The Same 125 Market Street Meeting Point

This is one of the easiest details to confuse because the Wilmington Coup and Massacre Historic Tour currently uses the same starting location as the True Crime Tour.

Meet outside Slice of Life Pizzeria & Pub, 125 Market Street. The current booking information says the tour returns to the same location at the end.

These are two different tours with different subject matter, even though the meeting address is identical. Check the name and start time on your confirmation so that you join the correct guide.

5. History & Architecture Tour: Front Street Inn

This is not a ghost tour, but it is one of the downtown walking tours we feature because it is useful for visitors who want more historical context before exploring Wilmington after dark.

The History and Architecture Walking Tour meets on the sidewalk outside Front Street Inn, 215 S Front Street.

The current operator information notes that the inn has a coffee shop and restrooms available to patrons. The tour follows a loop and returns to the same meeting point.

They are all in downtown Wilmington, but they are not interchangeable.

The Ghost Walk starts closest to the river at Market and Water. The True Crime and Coup tours begin farther up Market Street at 125 Market. Wraiths starts north of Market Street at Thalian Hall on Chestnut. The History and Architecture Tour begins farther south on Front Street.

Downtown Wilmington is compact enough that these places can look deceptively close on a map. That is exactly why it is worth saving the correct pin before you leave. Walking a few blocks in the wrong direction is easy; doing it five minutes before a tour starts is much less enjoyable.

What If You Are Running Late?
